Apotheosis: Stories of Survival After the Rise of the Elder Gods is the new anthology coming from Simian Publishing. Simian is the same company that brought us the fun (and darkish) spec fic anthology The Future Embodied. Submissions for Apotheosis will open on November 1, 2014 and will close on December 31, 2014.
The editors are seeking works of 2,000 – 7,000 words which showcase tales of “…human survival and defiance in a world subjugated by the return of the Elder Gods.” They’ll be looking for stories that clearly fall within the Lovecraft Mythos and they have definite perspective on what that means, so checking out the guidelines is especially important on this one. They do accept reprints.
